If you are wondering what being a freemason means, and what freemasons do then please read on. For more information Contact Us

In a nutshell freemasonry is probably the oldest fraternal organisations still in existence, it comprises like-minded men  who aspire to live to the four ideals of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity.

Having integrity means living, working and interacting in an honest, upright and trustworthy way and adhering to the      laws of his country.

We form a bond of friendship with our fellow freemasons, irrespective of background, race or creed.

We strive to respect  the views, feelings and beliefs of all mankind.

We practice charity to each other, our community, both local and worldwide.

We meet in local groups known as Lodges on a regular basis; meetings consist of a business section concerned with the smooth running of the lodge as well as various ceremonies. These ceremonies are dramatic playlets which aim to promote our four ideals of integrity, friendship, respect and  charity. This has been described as "making good men better."

We then have dinner together, partly formal but with lots of merriment and good natured banter.
